Supported and carried out thanks to the “PO FESR Sicilia 2014/2020, Azione 1.1.5” of Sicilian Region, SEAVIEW is an underwater vehicle equipped with a Video-Acoustic sensory architecture intended for the exploration of underwater areas with the ability to search and identify targets of the type “Archaeological Find” or equivalent. It has the ability to fuse video and acoustic outputs that allows it to operate in turbid waters. The signal processing operates in the Time-Frequency domain. High acoustic resolution, high video resolution, video and acoustic stereoscopy are some key feature of the sensor sub-system.
