Acoustic & Magnetic Targets
The Target Modules are an advanced tool for the training of the ASW personnel and for the technical and operational evaluation of ASW scenarios.
They can be integrated on any type of underwater vehicle, recoverable or expendable, as an external payload or as an inline subassembly.
They can generate the acoustic and magnetic signature of real targets and the extended echo of real targets in a wide frequency band from less than 1 kHz up to more than 35 kHz.
The Target Modules also elaborate automatic evasive manoeuvres once the attack from an incoming torpedo is detected.
They can be easily programmed before the mission in terms of frequency of operation, Source Level and Target Strength, distribution and amplitude of highlights and type of evasive manoeuvre.
